The major roles of the Office of Research and Technology Transfer are to assist you in pursuing new funding opportunities, make you aware of existing potential funding opportunities, and highlight the areas of research done at WSU to federal agencies that may approach the University.
RTT is developing a database that will match faculty/staff interests to available external funding opportunities. This database, Personal Research Profile Builder, will be specific to each faculty/staff member and their research interests. In order to facilitate the process, I request that each research eligible faculty/staff member respond to the following questions which will indicate your specific research interests. If you choose not to complete the questionnaire in the database or subsequent search efforts, you will not be able to receive any notifications of opportunities that may exist in your interest area.
The questionnaire will take about 10 – 15 minutes to complete, and your responses will determine what information or notifications you will receive in the future. . This Personal Research Profile Builder will be posted on the RTT website in the future so that you may update your interests at any time, and any new faculty/staff members at WSU will be able to develop their Personal Research Profile.
Thank you for your participation in this process.
